I reloaded my save several times trying to fugure it out lol but i saved it and moved on. I guess they all make there own sound so its possible i was trippin? (lack of sleep).

Maybe it was a perk that did not have the blinking star that i clicked on when i heard the strange noise but then again the perk point was gone. I did realize that you could not level up some perks past a certian point until you were a high enough level but i guess i just suddenly noticed a few blinking stars and it just seemed weird. Not sure if it was a bug or if it was just me?īut i would still like to know why some perks are empty(ones i have not leveled up at all), some have the one or two yellow stars after me leveling it up, some have a yellow star and a blinking star?Īh ok thanks. (i know that if you hover the mouse pointer over a perk after a level up it will show a blinking star but thats not what i mean, i mean some are blinking on the chart)ĮDIT: ok so i reloaded my quick save and did it again, i clicked on a perk that had a blinking star and it stays solid now/two yellow stars. I noticed if i try to add a point/star to the ones that are blinking it makes a different noise than usual and the star stays blinking but the perk point is still consumed? The only perk i have two soild stars is strong back.(appart from the S.P.E.C.A.L.S of course) The three perks that have a blinking star are "fortune finder', "life giver" and "toughness" all three of them there is one yellow star and one blinking. Theres the yellow stars and the empty stars, yellow being ones i leveled up already and blank of course being ones that i have not but why are some blinking? Not when you suddenly decide to do it every time u switch a weapon or something.Hey, just leveled up again and i noticed when going to select a perk to level up, a few of the ones on the chart have a star that is blinking? So long that you do not abuse this and only do it to test things too. So Imo this is not exactly cheating if you do not add more perks than you remove. And I dont like how some people keep perks even if they turn out to be useless to them but since in old school rpgs u couldnt revert it meant breaking your character and for some people it is some kind of wicked fun. For instance i thought i could make the robots my permanent followers and wanted to recruit that massive robot with rockets and miniguns but it is only temporary so i'd rather not spend points into that perk at all. So it does not have to be cheating it can be used to test whether the perks are actually worth something because the descriptions are limited and do not really tell you how good some perks are. I also tested a perk that gives u control over robots to find that it is absolutely useless.
Fallout 4 perk chart pulsing star how to#
so I respeced but then Ive been playing Beth games for ages and I didnt need this articles to know how to do it. because i spent 7 perks on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ charisma to get stores in town and they turned out to make little to no profit compared to just producing water in ♥♥♥♥ tons. Neither does resetting perks on your first playthrough.
